Sorry, but we can’t make any changes to the team’s roster on the day of the event. However, if there are any issues, team captains should go to the “Information Tent”.
Families and children are invited to attend the event as spectators. There are activities for spectators and kids in the Family Fun Zone. Kids, friends and spouses are also welcome to take part in the Wellness Walk. (Note-all participants must sign a waiver.) The competitive and participatory events are only for adult participants who are employees of the company and their spouses, on the team roster and have submitted a waiver.
Yes. Families may sit in the same area as the team.
No. However, we strongly suggest that teams dress alike—t-shirts rule the day. When your team shirts are the same color, our volunteers can easily tell teams apart.
There will be fruit, water and powerade available.
Yes, we ask that everyone from a team participate in the Good Sport events all at once so our volunteers can track the scores.
While we highly recommend competing as a full team, there are certain events that allow you to compete with a partial team for partial points. Those include: Basketball, Football Accuracy Throw, Soccer Kick, and Tug-of-War.
No spikes, cleats, studs, hobnails or other metal fittings will be permitted, including soccer or football shoes with rubber cleats. Gloves are permitted, but will not be available by event management.
Full-sized, NCAA footballs will be used. Targets will be hexagons that are mounted approximately six feet off the ground.
No. The parkers must submit a valid driver’s license in advance. All participants will need to check-in at the registration tent at the event before they are cleared to park.
Yes. Donations for Playing it Forward will be accepted from 9 a.m. to noon at the information tent.
Parking is available at the Olympia Park Plaza parking lot, located across Springdale Road, just north of the KCD campus. The address is 4801 Olympia Park Plaza. Each company will be provided two grounds access parking passes for inside the KCD grounds so they may bring tailgating materials, food and drinks, etc., for your team. We request that all cars using grounds access passes park by 8 a.m. Maps and detailed parking plans will be sent in mid-May.
Yes. Participants may compete in one or more of the competitive sports, however, it is the responsibility of each participant to ensure competition schedules are not conflicting.
